AGILE Methodologies Management Abstract

Facing of the technological advances, the importance of the areas of
telecommunications, electronics and information technology (IT) for democratization
of knowledge is undisputed, but are also responsible for the increase in the rate of
exchange of information and a change in the form of people communicate, which
increased the requirements of business at the levels also globalised and fast rescue
boats, where delays, mistakes and re-work are not accepted, meaning loss of market
and money, often sunk.
Nowadays there is no possibility to dissociate any electronic equipment from
software, which controls it. As well as the control of processes and activities of any
company, before made on paper, today are inserted in a vast range of management
systems of information, simpler, as spreadsheets Excell, to more sophisticated ERPs.
Base on these factors, it can be affirmed the immense importance in order to
promote the improvement is still in the development of software. The classical model
of development of software, with its vision sequence of tasks, was well accepted until
the 1990s. However using this model, the majority of organizations develop software
without using any process, and the outcome of this lack of systematizing the
production of software, is the low quality of the final product, budgets and deadlines
lost, and in addition to hinder the development of software.
In replies to shortcomings in the traditional model, emerged proposals agile
methodologies for the development of software. And the methodology agile chosen
for studies in this work was to SCRUM, seeking to identify: how adhering this
methodology would be to the practices of PMBOK; and how could the coexistence of
both in the same organization. Another point of discussion here is how the
methodology SCRUM needs be adapted to bring-it compatible with the certification
PMP, and which other methodologies and procedures agile could supply the
probable weaknesses in the SCRUM.
